Nerdcore

So I was going to be a nerdcore rapper. I had this desire to write rhymes about all the nerdy stuff in my life. I wanted to tell the stories I have. I wanted to throw out my experiences to a small and dramatically limited audience on the internet. I never had aspirations of performing or recording in front of a ton of people. I used to freestyle rap over Black Sabbath in the car. I always get inspired in my little Malibu and spit expletives to the music pumping through my stereo. To me though there is something just fun about the expressions the emotion that is involved when I do. To actually turn a moment in my car into an actual plan that is beyond my actual skill set. I am not giving up on it, but I am practical enough just to dig the cool stuff that is out there. I am a thief not a rogue, how nerdcore is getting your D&D books taken away while you are in prison, how many girls have screamed ‘And I hate mc chris’ during a fight with their boyfriend, it is just creepy t

Daemons

Okay so, I just won this auction on eBay. For $325, I walked away with a shit ton of chaos daemons. The thing is the army didn't have any heavy choices I really wanted to use. It did include the Reaper Sophie model as a demon prince(cess), but that isn't core or legal in the Warhammer world, so I will probably be relisting her. I did pick up this force though. Personally I am excited about having Skulltaker and these models. In a small battle I might use one of the regular Bloodcrushers as a herald on a Juggernaut. But for an elite choice and HQ choice the unit is great. These things are strong, have a lot of attacks, a MEQ saving throw in addition to their daemonic 5+ invulnerable save. They are strictly melee, but I can live with that. It is why we play daemons. Core melee infantry doesn't get much better. S5 on a charge, 2A each, power weapons. The bloodletters are gonna be mad fun. Can field two units of at least 8. Flamers are jump infantry,

Super-hero Movies

Okay, I have mentioned this a few time in public. I have never decided to write about it though. I remember way back when there were no superhero movies. You had Christopher Reeves and Adam West then along came Jack Nicholson as the Joker. Don't get me wrong, I was dying for a blockbuster Spiderman film. I have been a fan of the genre for years, but something happened after seeing the Avengers movie. Like walking away from that theater where I felt like, okay that was awesome. But it was more like that is awesome, and I am done. Like enough already Hollywood. I appreciate it, but let's go in a new direction. I don't need another Peter Parker to be Spiderman. I don't need a Spiderwoman movie for me to feel complete. I think just in general I want them to pick a new theme. One of my favorite twists in the discussion is the action movie heroes of my childhood. You had film after film starring the same actor in a slightly different role. Sure he acted pret
